Your path to a beautiful smile
On this page we introduce you to all the steps involved in a smile makeover. Every step is carefully designed to make sure we can deliver what you have in mind. Our goal is to get to know you and your personality before we begin any restorative work.
Initial conversations, photography, digital smile design, diagnostic mock-ups, and try-ins with different temporary restorations are just some of the steps we take to make sure we can give you a smile you truly love.
In our process, patients are an integral part of the team; great work cannot be done without close collaboration and mutual understanding.
Our process starts with an introduction between you and our team. This opens a conversation to understand your wishes and goals. Full documentation and photographs are taken so we can analyze your face, smile, and personality.
We use all collected documentation to carefully study and design the case. We often begin the smile makeover process with an orthodontic/restorative mock-up to share our vision with you before any treatment is performed.
Once the final design is confirmed by the team and by you, we perform minimally invasive tooth preparation through an additive mock-up. This allows us to remove only what is needed for the final ceramics. Our philosophy revolves around tooth preservation. Less is more.
For our team, the temporary phase is one of the most important stages of every smile makeover. It is an opportunity for you to wear and live with the design we have in mind. Here our goal is to open a conversation for any changes and reach what truly makes you happy before we fabricate the ceramic restorations.
We have a very thorough process for placing the final ceramic restorations. This step is performed under rubber dam isolation, unless contraindicated, to achieve maximum bond strength and create a clean environment for the bonding steps. Most of our dental procedures are performed under rubber dam isolation; the benefits are numerous. Ask us why during your next visit.
After placing the final restorations, we perform several tissue checks to ensure gum health. These appointments include final photographs of our work, the most rewarding part of this process.
